Protractor Cam enables you to measure angles using your iOS device. Use it around the house when measuring materials such as carpet/flooring, walls, or while working on your car or boat… anywhere an angle is important.
Protractor Cam superimposes an adjustable protractor over the live video from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch camera. To take an angle reading, simply swipe-to-rotate the protractor over the item pictured on your screen and read the angle on the scale. Protractor Cam works just like a plastic drafting protractor does in 2-dimensions on paper, but now you can use it anywhere on any angle, anytime.

there is no way to tell f your phone is at level to the horizon. If you are measuring the angle of a roof or incline you have no reference to zero or 90.
How do you capture the photo image
Crap. No instructions and cannot figure out how to get the protractor to show up in a video. No support. Deleted.
I use this for flying charts and works perfect
Three buttons on the app. The right one changes from front camera to back. The middle one takes a picture. The left one should zero out the protractor and set the reference line back to 90 degrees. Instead there is a little plus sign that takes you back to the App Store. Why?
